Vicariate of Rome Asks Clergy Leading 'Double Lives' to Leave Priesthood

After an Italian media report exposed sexual activity by gay priests in Rome, the Vicariate of Rome responded quickly by calling on all priests who are leading such “double lives” to come out and leave the priesthood.

Priests should not be leading double lives. They need either repent or stop being priests.
 
Its just a start.
Examples of priests leading double lives usually only come to light when the priest embezzles to maintain his lover. Or the former lover accuses him of abuse.
(both recent ocurrences in my former Arch-Diocese of Hartford.
The preponderence of these cases seem to be Homosexual in nature.
I know people don’t want to hear this.
What can we do to rid our church of this infection?
