There is nothing scrupulous about criticizing lewd public displays. In a less “enlightened” time such displays would be viewed as the product of a sinful mind or a disturbed mind. It is fashionable to place in public things which are for private. That used to be a psychological issue.feel the need to contrast overscrupulous ideas of modesty with the horrors of war famine and disaster. They are unrelated.
We now indoctrinate our children into the culture of excess at every turn.
