If you watch the begining of the video you will see a man in a purple mitre give the blessing to the deacon.

That IS the bishop of that diocese, Cardinal Mahony.

It’s a shame I can’t walk into any Catholic church and expect this or something that looks remotely close to this.

Amen to that!

You know, I have seen enough bad community theatre to recognize it fairly quickly, and there were many similarities. I feel dirty just having watched it on my computer. I gotta go wash.

Pray our Papa puts an end to travesties like this.
