A shrine at St. Anthony of Padua Church displayed statues of the three children of Fatima and the Virgin Mary greeting them. Jumping the fence there, a burly vandal ripped three statues of the three children of Fatima out of their base and hurled them into the statue of Mary, damaging all of them irreparably.

The man’s every move was caught on the church’s street surveillance camera.

He didn’t look a bit ‘mad.’ He looked cool and collected and with intent. He walked away without looking back. I’d say the devil had a hand in his action. I do pray that he is caught. Peace.

NYC has a lot of mentally unstable people wandering around. I hope he is caught but also glad he took out his ire on inanimate objects rather than on a human person.
