Why should we accept his tradition? I would rather accept the Apostolic tradition instead.
Interesting fact: You remember Thomas the Apostle, right? “Doubting Thomas”? After Pentecost, he went off all the way to the southern tip of India and founded a church there. For 1,800 years it was separated from the rest of the Catholic Church until it was discovered by Portuguese explorers in 1845. This Church is the Syro-Malabar and Syro-Malankara Church - otherwise known as St. Thomas Christians. They go to divine liturgy every Sunday - obviously the Catholic Church had no influence on their decision to do so for they were doing it long before they were reunited with the rest of the Church!
