Attacked by uniformed and plainclothes police, who took his camera, the reporter was abandoned unconscious and bleeding in the street. Solidarity of the bishops of North Vietnam for Father Van Lien, accused by authorities of inducing"the faithful to commit crimes."

We take for granted the freedom of our religion here in the US, but in the rest of the world, in Muslim countries, in communist countries, in areas of unrest in the America’s where we have more and more martyrs to our faith, we need to pray! Pray for their safety, pray that their message sends out testimony to those around them of the love of God. May the angels lead them into Paradise one day for their sacrifices.
