Hm… seems like religious freedom is hard to come by in Vietnam.

Let me ask this, however… does Vietnam, as a Communist nation and once a country under a Catholic dictator (or, at least, part of it), use history to justify its hostility towards Catholics and their churches? I’ve read that when Diem was in power, many Vietnamese in the South were not happy with him because of his malevolence towards Buddhists.
