It is a matter of being faithful in Christ to the very end. The Church proposes, but does not impose or try to lay out telling us what to do every day. And to lay out a guilt trip on having guilt free sex mentality won’t work either these days.
There is ample information available for any Catholic to research, as well as the pulpit always preaching the way of truth.
The teaching Magisterium of the Church is the transmission of grace through the Holy Spirit Who didn’t ever leave us. We are the ones who freely leave, but Christ is always there for us in His Church.
