Virginal Childbirth

I just learned that the CC teaches that the Blessed Mother wasn’t just virginal by not having had sexual intercourse but also that during childbirth, she physically remained a virgin. I’m wracking my brain and wonder if there are any ideas on how our Lord was born?
By definition, to be a virgin is to be untouched sexually. If Mary was a virgin before and during pregnancy it would go without saying she was a virgin during and after childbirth. Especially since Jewish law required Joseph to stay way from her intimately during that time and some time after because she was considered “unclean.” Our Lord was born like any other baby, for the lowest of men to the highest of kings.
I’ve also been wondering if there’s any record of a regular women, at any time, though rare, having remained physically virginal during childbirth?
In the United States, and I’m sure other countries, artificial insemination can legally be performed on an adult woman who has never engaged in sexual activity. If it’s the hymen you are concerned about you should know that there are girls born without them. Also if a young woman waits until she is a little older (and married!!) to engage in sexual activity there is the possibility that the hymen could stay intact through intercourse and childbirth. The hymen is like the rest of that area making it elastic and there has been cases of women maintaining it through childbirth.
