Yes, I’d like to know that as well. If God created us and we receive communion every week with good conscience, then how could internal searching be looked at as evil?

You claim to belong to three religions who’s beliefs are mutually exclsusive. You have made no coherent explanation of your beliefs other than they are based on “love” and “good intentions” And of course since you are making up your theology as you go along its impossible to determine why you beleive what you believe(whatever that is).
 
Most probably a New Age thingamabobber. Would strongly suggest staying away.

Srry, that question was directed to everyone who thought vision quests were evil, not just you. If you are unable to answer it then you have no reason to say that vision quests are evil, now do you?

I would not look on it a evil if you are firmly grounded in your faith. I would call it redundant as you have already found God-now you just want to be closer to him.

You don’t know me, and I’m not ‘spiritually confused.’ Please leave the matter of my religion to myself as it has nothing to do with the topic being discussed here.

Jesus is the son of God. Buddhists recognize him as a respected and divinely inspired prophet. I recognize him as the son of God. You are right in saying that my beliefs aren’t fully part of any belief. I bet that annoys you, but it’s my belief and experiences so tough for you.

No, I didn’t contradict myself. You are much more likely to find God outside of yourself than in yourself. Or do you think that God can only be found in you.

As I am typing this, I am wondering why Iet myself say stuff like God is “found.” God is not lost. Many times people are lost!

But before you said that searching inside yourself was evil and danergous. Why is it?

No, God is everywhere and so can be found everywhere. But searching our souls and beliefs and searching for God within us can help us develope a much more personal relationship with him. Vision quests open are eyes so that we become even closer to God.

All anyone has to do is pull of your posts and they will see exactly what i am talking about. There is a HUGE difference between respecting somene as a prophet and believeing he is the son of God and died for our sins. The fact you dont see the dfference is exactly the spiritual confusion(we wont even get into your idea that Wiccan and Christianity are compatible) I was talking about.

I dont personally care about you beleifs and only question them when you jump into threads and start giving people advice based on your muddled belief system. Should a Catholic looking to out their chidren in a Summer camp really be taking your advice?

lol, humans always make mistakes.

The spiritual plane of existence is much more powerful than the phsyical plane. Internal is a purer form of God’s presence, at times.

While our phsyical actions may represent what is going on inside us, why not just change on a spiritual level than on a phsyical one? My point is that vision quests are all right. Can we agree on this now? If not, why do you disagree?

If I didn’t think my avice was good then I wouldn’t say it. You don’t care about my beliefs or opinions? Rather rude, but good. Let’s drop it. I’m not confused. You are the one who is confused about my beliefs, not me.

You just said they were all right in the post above! Why are you against them and think them evil, then? Still haven’t told me that yet. I’m not sayin you have to go on a vision quest or feel comfortable with the idea, just accept that they are okay.
