This is because I have to be eighteen to be on the site, so I lied. Many people do this on here, in my experience, as most of the people I know are under eighteen. Otherwise I would have my actual age posted.OK, so you say your are 15, but your profile says you were born in 1992, which if my arithmetic serves, makes you 19. Which is it?
You say you want to be a priest, yet you have nothing good to say about your own parish- There is nothing at all for you to be invloved in?
Lector? Altar server? Sing in the Choir? Volunteer with the Faith Formation program?
I find that very hard to believe that there are no opportunities for you in any of the parishes that you attend.
As far as you description of the sisters- you should be ashamed of yourself!! :tsktsk:
How dare you relate 2nd & 3rd hand information as TRUTH!!
Being how you are not even sure how old you are, and many of your immature rants & statments, why should anyone here take you seriously?
You don’t want to listen to anyone who has another point of view, and you have an answer and excuse of everything.
IMHO, not the characteristics of a good priest.![]()
No, no, and no. There’s about ten people that go in my parish, and everyone has their place. There’s usually more people serving in the Mass than people attending. It’s very click-ish, really. Even if I asked they probably wouldn’t let me be an altar server. There is no groups in the church, either. It’s a town of eight-hundred people. The only youth group is the Youth For Christ, in which teaches Protestant beliefs.
This is not second-hand information. All of the information I stated (Except for the information I gave from my grandma) were my personal experiences with the Sisters. I do not hate them though. I respect them greatly. You must’ve missed when I complimented them a few messages back. They just aren’t sound theologically, unfortunately. They’re very big in feminism. One even said to vote Democrat! Which goes against all rules for Religious, as they are to never choose sides, and simply state the morals which the Catholic Church lays down.
I listen to other peoples’ views. I just think strongly about some subjects. Many times have I changed my mind about things because of other people on here. Habits, for one.
It’s very hard to give a judgment on me since you don’t know me personally. The Bishop and three other Priests have told me I have a vocation and that I have the right attitude and beliefs for the Priesthood. My family and I went to a wedding last week, and everyone was amazed at how well-behaved we were, how willing to work we were, and how nice we were to each other and to others.
