Voice of Tony the Tiger dies

FULLERTON, California (AP) – Thurl Ravenscroft, who provided the rumbling “They’re Grrrrreeeat!” for Kellogg’s Tony the Tiger ads and voiced a host of Disney characters, has died. He was 91.

I am so sorry to hear that. Thanks for the article, I didn’t know he was a singer and a back-up one for Bing Crosby. Generations knew his voice. MAY HE REST IN PEACE.
