Here in Michigan, one of the proposals on the ballot, Proposal 2 addresses Affirmative Action; whether to continue it or abolish it. Oddly enough the Bishops of Michigan have broken with tradition and are now dabbling into liberal politics from the pulpit. Their position is to urge a ‘No’ vote on Proposal 2 which would maintain Affirmative Action. I am curious to know if they have similar proposals on the ballots in other states and what the general mindset is of the electorate on this proposal?
