Maybe you can clarify this for me. I can’t make heads or tails about what Admadhassen is saying or trying to say. Maybe I’m just dense.

Is he talking about the gospel of Matthew not being in the Hebrew “bible” or is he saying that the gospel of Matthew was written in Hebrew?

He claims that Matthew 28,19 is not contained in the Hebrew gospel from which the Greek gospel was translated. But as far as I know the Hebrew gospel has not existed since even before Jerome,so there is no basis for that claim.

*Okay, that’s what I thought. The only copy of Matthew’s gospel was in the Greek. He’s got me so confused about his thoughts or accusations(?) and wanting “proof” for stuff that doesn’t exist. *

I think I’ll just keep up with the thread and keep my mouth shut and see where this goes! Thanks for the clarification.

As long as your not confused as to the teaching authority of the Church to have formulated the Canon of scripture in the first place.

I hear you on the misunderstanding thing. Sometimes I wonder how people understand each other as well as they do on here given the lack of gesture and inflection of speach. Its not easy sometimes thats for sure.
