Eggs-actly, newton. I mean…if that does not happen, then the people who trampled over the man, will know that they can do the same thing again next year, with no consequences. Sad!

It’s just awful to think that someone was dying under the feet of shoppers and many either didn’t notice or didn’t care in their rush to find bargains. It’s surreal and horrific and almost unbelievable.

I guess the Wal-mart situation is similar to the situation a few months back where that poor man was the victim of a hit-and-run and he just lay in the street and nobody would help him for awhile. People drove around him and walked up to look at him, but it took some time before someone rendered him any aid or called for help. There is also the situation in Kansas where a woman was stabbed in a convenience store during an argument and she lay dying while people stepped over and around her to get snacks and someone even took a picture of her with a cell phone but did nothing to help her.

…I have to note that I have yet to meet a person who is not completely horrified by the circumstances of this employee’s death. That in itself gives me hope that we are not too far gone.

I have hope too, but it is certainly quite dimmed when I read about things like this. I think these things reflect our culture of death and just how little many value life. It is tragic.

Those stories are horrible, swizzle. Just horrible. Surreal. I don’t know what’s happened to people’s charity anymore, in our country. I just don’t know. I mean, there ***are a lot ***of great stories out there where people are helping others, but these stories like Walmart, and the ones you tell are becoming too common.
