With Walmart the original intenetion of Sam Walton was to go into small town America. Walmarts have just recently come to large cities. They don’t impress me one bit. Here in Michigan Meijer keeps right with them and even beats them a bit. Theres a quaint little 50 yearold corner grocery store a mile from my house that beats Walmart on meat prices easily everytime. After firing me for not brownnosing It would be plenty fine with me if Wallyworld dissappeared forever.

IMOHO, breast cancer screenings are more important because I believe it is wrong to penalize someone by denying someone healthcare and screenings just because someone else down the hall wants an abortion. Someone who wants an abortion will get one unless you talk her out of it. But I don’t agree that should services be denied to someone who wants services that have nothing to do with abortion. That’s just my opinion. Of course, you’re entitled to your own 🙂

There are plenty of charities out there, I’m sure you can pick one that will satisfy you. You really don’t need to be worrying about what I’m doing 🙂 The world’s big enough for us all, and all charities need support. Pick one that will make you happy and let others pick one that will address their priorities 🙂

Pretending otherwise does not make it so.

Actually, I rarely shop at Walmart, and the primary reason why I rarely shop at Walmart is that usually their prices are too high. I can usually get a better deal someplace else. If you watch for sales you can usually do much better than Walmart. Of course, this could be partly because I live in a part of the country with a big retail sector and there is a lot of competition.

Also on a much more closely related to death culture note, Walmart through its support of the communist government in China is directly connected to that governments forced abortion policy.

If you are a faithful Catholic it should be forbidden for us to step foot in that corporations stores.

I like Wal-Mart, if the price is right, I’ll buy it, where I buy it doesn’t concern me.

I drive a Ford, my whole family drives a Ford.

I like MickeyD’s fries and coffee…I will eat there

I like Starbucks as a treat.

I buy Proctor and Gamble products, if their price is less than another product.

Raising the paranoia and telling people to boycott Wal-Mart because they may support Susan G. Komen, which supports PP, is like saying, “Let’s boycott the Catholic Church, because there are some “priests” who molest children.”:eek:

Forget about the good priests who are shepherds to their parishoners…forget that the Susan G. Komen foundation pours money into organizations so women can get free or reduced cost mammograms and treatment, thereby saving lives.

See how crazy this boycotting nonsense can get?

Wal-Mart no more supports communist China, than Target supports France and doesn’t support veteran causes.🤷

I’d send my chain-smoker brother to their free sponsored lung xray promotion and still NOT buy cigarettes. Frankly, they should sponser free lung xrays to the poor and non-poor.

I do try to boycott all chinese stuff. I try to buy US made stuff, but its getting more and more difficult.

Ask the managers at Walmart what happened to their big made in the US patriotic signage they used to have.

In addition to the abortion aspect, buying from China supports terrorism, the pillaging of Africa and corruption in countries that supply raw materials to the commies.

If they didn’t enjoy the 40% discount the valuation of their currency provides they wouldn’t be able to compete against the rest of the world except in trinkets and labor intensive sewing items. Ask your representatives in congress why China is a favored nation trading partner if they are against almost every value of America , support terrorist states and have gutted American manufacturing with their currency devaluation.

When you learn the reality of ‘politics and lobbying’ you’ll realize that abortion
was “legalized” through such efforts. Abortion WAS illegal sort of “forever”
until 40 yrs ago. The fact that this society says abortion is legal does NOT and
can NOT make it moral. As the poster said: “The unborn have just as much right
to live as you do.” Law has nothing to do with this God-given right.

How can you suppose otherwise???

China doesn’t support terrorism. China is a G20 Nation and is buddies with Canada.

Is the Catholic Church supporting abortion? No.
So you have no actual standard of comparison.

BTW, Walmart does support the Komen foundation -
and the Komen foundation does give lots of money to PP.

IT’S NOT A QUESTION OF “MAY SUPPORT.” IT DOES SUPPORT.
