On the petition of the Bishop of East Anglia, Pope Francis had raised the whole site of the National Roman Catholic Shrine of Our Lady at Walsingham, Norfolk, to the status of a Minor Basilica.

Bishop Alan hopes reads and explains the decree here.

Very significant news for all members of the Ordinariate and will hopefully increase pilgrimage to the shrine.
 
Wonderful news for Catholics in that neck of the woods. Would love to visit the Shrine some day. 👍
