Defense contractors were told not to issue lay off notices prior to the election ,due to defence department cutbacks, by reminding them of the WARN act . This is actually a great act for those Catholic/Christian or any other business man/woman who is looking down the barrell of the HHS mandate or increasing business costs due to the Democratic anti business tax and kill plan. ASAP ( it has to be given before 60 days of business shut down and the election is just a little over 30 days away and less for those that mail in their ballott) give your employees the info that that you will be closing down shop due to the inevitability of Obama winning the election. After all Nancy Pelosi said there was no way he wasn’t going to win (can you say fraud) Let them know this could be rescinded after the election depending who wins.and what impact the winner has on the Mandate or what ever your personal issue is. Actually most people “Christians” included are more intrested in the money in their pocket for "toys, and stuff " than in the spiritual consequences of voting for a Socialist bent on converting the country either by giving out :“free stuff” or force. So they will be very concerned for who they and their family/friends vote for since it will impact them financially. Pass this on ! , especially to all the diocesan folks that have LOADS of people working for them and hardly any of them really upset at all that the Faithful will have to pay for their abortions and sterilizations and they will not have to pay a penny. Pass it on!

Actually, the truth is that they were told not to issue layoff notices prior to the election IN VIOLATION OF the WARN Act.

In fact the Obama regime said that they would take care of any of the civil penalties that defense contractors would be liable for. This is a HUGE violation of the law…publicly encouraging private entities to violate the law and colluding with them to protect them from the consequences of those violations.

Corruption at the highest level.

The government said it would cover legal costs if contractors are forced to slash their payrolls because of the looming $109 billion in automatic cuts next year and are alleged to have violated the WARN Act.

The federal WARN Act requires businesses with more than 100 employees to notify workers at least 60 days in advance of a mass layoff or plant closing. Some states require more notice.

This is true. As a former Defense subcontractor employee, we would receive WARN Act notifications of layoffs in October (fiscal year starts in October). Only the one time, and that would cover our employer for the year. Due to the election, they’ll notify employees in November.

So I’m sorry, I don’t see how this is a benefit in the fight against HHS. :confused:

Yes, he’s worried about creating jobs for the middle class, alright.

Doesn’t this kind of fly in the face of that notion?

They are literally saying “don’t worry about notifying people they may not have an income to pay their bills and feed their families. That could hurt us in an election season. Let it sneak up on them, and we’ll pay for your legal fees later.”

This has to bother some Obama supporters. After all the commercials telling us how Romney is so heartless, isn’t doing what those commercials rail against?
