Was Genesis wrong about creation?

Not sure about that. Torah Code discoverer Eliyahu Ripps, and researcher Rabbi Glaserson, along with help of Tanakh show to us, that Tanakh is vastly multidimensional considering codes are more than wide and long; they have depths and dimensions unfathomable, hence the last sentence warning written in complete Tanakh about changing anything within it.
The more the Word is revealed the more perfectly purposeful it becomes: a definition of science of the soul.
and you would have me think what about Genesis?

HaShem did add details, enough to fill all eternity. It’s not Abba’s fault we’re haughty, densely demanding and full of hubris.

VGood brother, you don’t need to defend the Word of God. But maybe this may give any others who want you to defend it, an answer:
Now, I am not getting this 100% spot on because it’s a mishegoss, but in Torah Code–the tool where Torah is converted to all Hebrew without punctuation or any spaces–that searches for words you (name removed by moderator)ut, the letters of name Yehoshua are the first letters that begin each five books.
Torah Code is hard to explain because the rules governing Hebrew give meanings different from English symbols defining how the name Yehoshua/Yeshua are pronounced. We must search in Hebrew because the codes are in Hebrew. (Some think the codes must be in ancient Hebrew which they arent. )
However, I know the Sanhedrin know about Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri’s identifying Yehoshua as Moshiach (Messiah) but they’re not ready to admit it because they can’t get their heads around the idea that if they accepted Yehoshua, then that would make them Christians ??? NO, IT WOULDNT MAKE THEM CHRISTIANS! It makes them Yehudim who have witnessed the fulfillment of the promise Elohim made to our father Avraham, completed!
Oy! The Pulsa di Nura death curse has been cast for infractions far less than saying the name id’d in Talmud as Yeshu is actually the Messiah Yehoshua awaited by political Israel? Anyone with basic knowledge of the Tanakh and Prophets know the vast eye opening revelation to Yehudim wouldn’t occur until end of days. OneForIsrael.org has beautiful testimonies by Messianic Yehudim who explain their coming to Yehoshua.
Then there’s a minor problem or conjecture that modern Hebrew isn’t same as ancient Hebrew, and this makes prognostcating whether Trump builds Third Temple or what, a bit more difficult to determine.
<<<Talk about interfering in elections. Sanhedrin told Trump in 2016 his name was found in Torah codes along with Cyrus the Great of Persia who rebuilt second Temple, and that Trump has mandate from HaShem to rebuild 3rd Temple. It’s got people a little fatootsed to say the least. The Sanhedrin will not accept Yehoshua before building the third temple. >>>
Why no one talks about the fourth Temple, I don’t know!

I’m sorry, but there’s one thing wrong in your idea; it’s called John 16.
Would be so much easier if you just admitted you’re a Freemason. 😜
It’s okay. Tell us all about it bruv.

Huh, Joey?
Where did you read, or who taught you about Moshe and oral tradition, or the meshugge order of Torah you have?

Any Catholic defence for Genesis?
I cannot quote an exact singular source as I have been exposed to a number of various tenets. It is my understanding that from the time of Abraham to Moses, the vast majority of the history of the people Chosen by God handed down their history in oral form. It was Moses who began the written word of the Torah. I imagine some written work was in evidence but it hadn’t been “codified” until the time of Moses. I do remember on scripture study episode that stated that Exodus was the first book “written” and Genesis was written by Moses in answer to the question, “where did humanity come from/” His answer, the Creation story in Genesis was written to counter variations such as the Epic of Gilgamesh and other pagan accounts the early people of Moses time.

Any Catholic defence for Genesis?
If all didn’t come from 1 pair, (Adam and Eve) then one could always argue they aren’t from the pair that committed the first sin. When Jesus our Savior, being described as the NEW Adam , those who think they are NOT from the first Adam, who do THEY look to?

Wasn’t aware we impugned all scholars. How much of what you paid hundreds of thousands of dollars learning turned out to be porkie pies? (lies)
Our point is some only know religion in their heads rather in their hearts where the Holy Spirit teaches all things we require as written in John 16.
Or in Matthew 6(?) “Thank you father for hiding these truths from the learned and wise and for revealing them to the lowly and humble of heart”

Some Jews reject the oral tradition allegedly given to seventy elders while Moshe received the written word from Elohim. In fact, some claim this was the basis for the animosity Sanhedrin had against Yehoshua (Jesus) and his teachings–he would not accept their oral traditions.
Pride is the great sin and though they claimed Yehoshua blasphemed by calling himself the son of God, I think it’s likely the excuse they gave to Pilate because rejecting oral laws would not be seen by Romans as worthy of death.
After all, who would dare to challenge the Sanhedrin theology and authority should certainly be put to death, especially for calling them the Synagogue of Satan.
No, the Sanhedrin had plenty of time to seeth in their anger-- building bit by bit–until Yehoshua answered the question he is the Son of God, thus–as they claimed to Pilate–he was a threat to Roman rule.

Another potential problem some face concerning Torah is how it’s interpreted after being translated from Greek, but even more, how it’s translated today in Hebrew versus ancient Hebrew.
This should be no problem for the faithful as the Holy Spirit teaches us, and makes clear what most cannot see. John 16
However, who taught you what you say above?
Shalom!

I would say to one who questions Genesis: “be less concerned with where you come from, and more concerned with where you’re going.”

Not sure it’s pseudomath; we’re only talking equidistant letter skip sequences. So countíng is involved.
Greater concern is accuracy of the Hebrew translation from Greek to modern Hebrew vs ancient Hebrew. We know Bible has been altered in several places; this will affect the codes.
Now whether this is actual fact or one of those erroneous lessons we mentioned earlier, but in art history at UPenn we were told Michelangelo carved his famous Moses statue with horns because Bible was mistranslated saying Moses had horns, but really said, he had rays of light coming from behind him?

No! Not saying that. Can’t find the message I was responding to. Sorry Mike.

That’s because of a translation choice into Latin. Kinda a different issue than the whole ‘Bible code’ thing…

A combination of personal research and the conclusions I’ve drawn from my readings, coupled with things that have been said in Scripture Study assemblies by various religious authorities.

I am actually confused as to why what I believe is an issue. Traditional scholarship has it the Philo of Alexandria was the first to state Moses wrote the Torah, though its actual authorship has been attributed to various scribes surrounding Moses, or possibly even Joshua. It just is illogical to me that there were actual “authors” who wrote down the events from Eden to Abraham. History was passed on orally to my understanding. If you have any actual authors/writers from the time of Adam to Abraham, I’d love to know of them.

Scripture was inspired by the Holy Spirit. Oral tradition was only part of it. The Bible is the Word of God. Jesus was witness to these things.

John 5:46

New International Version
If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.

New Living Translation
If you really believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about me.

English Standard Version
For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me.

I’m a bit unclear on this part. Which part of Scripture is NOT oral tradition written down. Isn’t the entire Bible oral tradition written down?
