So, you would argue that neither Surah 9:29 or Luke 19:27 have any bearing on what is expected from each religion today? Now that is ‘in context’.
Your posts are informative. Mohammed was epileptic as I understand also? I believe there’s a documented account by a Byzantine Doctor who examined him?

"According to Theophanes, Mohammed had the disease of epilepsy. And when his wife noticed it, she was very much grieved that she, being of noble descent, was tied to such a man, who was not only poor but epileptic as well. Now he attempts to soothe her with the following words: “I see a vision of an angel called Gabriel and not being able to bear the sight of him, I feel weak and fall down.” But she had a certain monk for a friend who had been exiled because of his false faith and who was living there, so she reported everything to him, including the name of the angel. And this man, wanting to reassure her, said to her: “He has spoken true, for this angel is sent forth to all prophets”. And she, having received the word of the pseudo-prophet, believed him and announced to the other women of her tribe that he was a prophet. (Theophanes, 1007, Chronographia, vol. 1, p334) "

Epileptics can have hallucinations due to their condition. Byzantium historian Theophanes (died about 817)

Here’s more on the historic account.

Thanks for the kind remarks. Muhammad did exhibit symptoms that could very well be classified by neurologists as epilepsy or some other condition outside the supernatural, viz, he often broke into cold sweats, his face would become flushed and he would often become panicked or unable to sit on his camel. The surviving literature describes Muhammad hearing the ringing of a bell, as is often the case with Tinitis. Muhammad, while in this ecstatic state would also report the presence of Gabriel; and, that Gabriel even greeted Aisha during a visit. I find it odd that Gabriel would be speaking to a person who he should have known could not hear him. That in itself isn’t *necessarily *incoherent, unless we compare these alleged revelations to those found in the Bible in which case we find stark differences more in line with the famous Oracle of Delphi, et al. I don’t think the case is settled, but far from over.

(1) Narrated 'Aisha: (the mother of the faithful believers) Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah’s Apostle “O Allah’s Apostle! How is the Divine Inspiration revealed to you?”

Allah’s Apostle replied, "Sometimes it is (revealed) like the ringing of a bell, this form of Inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes ’ off after I have grasped what is inspired.

Sometimes the Angel comes in the form of a man and talks to me and I grasp whatever he says." 'Aisha added: **Verily I saw the Prophet being inspired Divinely on a very cold day and noticed the sweat dropping from his forehead **(as the Inspiration was over). (Book #1, Hadith #2)

What does 'book #1, Hadith #2 mean? What not just say, ‘Bible 5:37’? Are you using Bukahri, Muslim or some other collection? Also, what exact point are you trying to make?

Bukhari - it was in reply to your “sweat” posting on Mohammad

Missy, only ‘creations’ need to plan since they are not the masters of infinity/eternity - only God is. God does not need to plan - God already knows.

Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru almakireena
And they cheated/deceived and Allah cheated/deceived, and Allah (is) the best (of) the cheaters/deceivers.
Note that the above translation is given by a Muslim!
Again ask someone that speaks Arabic the definition is plan, never in my life have i ever heard this interpretation and again it is an INTERPRETATION so people always refer back to the original arabic.

the verse means people can plan all they want but at the end of the day God is only the true planner, no one can surpass His plan. So someone can plan to cheat and rob me but unless it is God’s plan it won’t happen and if it is in God’s plan it will happen.

I gave you the link already but here is another one

corpus.quran.com/translation.jsp?chapter=8&verse=30

That is why the Quran is never fully translated to English unlike the Bible or any other language because people will always have different translations and chinese whispers will distort it further but the MAJORITY of translations say plan/devise, never in my life have i read anywhere deceive. You ought to give a reference for ur translation if ur going to say its from someone Muslim. Muslim or Not, references help support ur claim, and I usually try to provide references when I can.
