There are congress people actually arguing about whether the ‘nuns’ or the bishops should be the ones that we listen to about the Health Care bill and it’s because of the media. It was announced by more than one media outlet that these nuns represented 59,000 nuns, which is just about the number of all of the nuns in the U.S.

Just a point of definition:

Not all sisters are nuns; nuns are cloistered in monasteries and are contemplatives. Nuns are sisters.

All others are sisters, but not nuns. They are not cloistered.
