Watchdog Group: America's 5 'Worst' Cardinals

I cannot believe ABC posted this:

Cardinal DiNardo is my archbishop, and he would never EVER act in a way that would put anyone in harm’s way. He immediately suspended a priest when accusations were made and fully cooperated with authorities, yet this “watch dog group” puts him on the list because he didn’t come out and make a press statement for two months.

And I know Cardinal O’ Malley was the one that cleaned up Boston after their scandal.

It just amazes me the lengths people will go to to try to make the Church look irresponsible.
 
WOW so giving people the time to actually investgate a claim before they run a mans name through the ground without proof is considered criminal. I guess its Guilty until proven innocence.

They didn’t want to look at the facts. The church pulled the priest as soon as someone put forth a claim. He was taken out of duty while the investigation was on going and when the church said there was credible evidence they made a public annoucement to ask people to come forth if the had any infomation for this case or any other cases. It took less than two months and during that time the priest didn’t perform any duties. I know because my friends go to his church.
 
There aren’t that many U.S. Cardinals to begin with. Discussing the “Five worst” is like saying, “Lemme tell you about the worst 2/3 of…” anything else. What an idiotic list!
 
It goes to show you that you can slander a Catholic and that’s perfectly OK.

Cardinal O’Malley was my bishop when all this was beginning. His work lead to our diocese adopting policies to protect children before any of this was mandated.

This man should be commended not condemned.

It really burns me that outlets like ABC can post hearsay as news and get away with it. If you read the anti-catholic comments that follow this “article” you can see who actually listens to ABC.
 
As far as I am concerned, I put SNAP in the same group as CTA, CFFC, and VTF. Their only goal is to destroy the Catholic Church. The only difference is SNAP is controlled by Trial Lawyers and use the secular courts for their purpose. :mad:
 
In order to begin the healing you’d have to be willing to do just that, begin. I don’t see that in some of these folks. I see a bottomless well of anger and victimhood. Not going to make anything better for yourself if you insist on sitting at the bottom of said well the rest of your life.
 
I see none of the St. Louis Cardinals are on the list and there are some that aren’t very good at all! 😃 I guess they can always be sent back to the minor leagues though unlike bad reporters.
