Another thing is that it is a big thing for teenagers around here to go to these type churches on a dare and then afterward they make fun of the worshippers.
I completely disagree with this practice.
Those poor people who “take up serpents” do not do so out of spite but out of pure ignorance and to go to their churches just to laugh at them shows a lack of taste on the teenagers part.

If you want to get linguistically technical, Saxon refers to two different languages (Upper and Lower) spoken in Germany which are more closely related to German than English. Linguists now exclusively use the term Anglo-Saxon (Modern Anglo-Saxon would be more appropriate) in connection with English to distinguish it from its relatives in Germany.

My dear Damascus. I was poking fun at the many enemies of the Church founded by Christ.

The various threads above suggest that we [the church] are responsible for the deaths of millions. I am not aware the church has ever killed anyone. Indeed we know that it is solemn church teaching that ‘anyone who kills, procures in a killing or consents to killing’ is automatically excommunicated’ But the fanatical critics of the church will not know that

They excuse the genocide by non-catholic political systems, as 'not representing their view, but when a serious crime is committed in a predominantly catholic country, the government of that country [which invariably is NOT catholic], the CC is STILL BLAMED for their decisions. Former Argentina, Chile being case-in points.
