So what do u think of those claiming to receive visions and locutions of God or Heaven telling them that we’re in the time of the Antichrist and that the Second Coming is About to happen?

They could be misinterpreting whatever they’re seeing/hearing. Some could be hallucinating. Some could be making it up.

“[Jesus said,] ‘of that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.’” (Mt 24:36)
“[Jesus said,] ‘stay awake, for you know neither the day nor the hour.’” (Mt 25:13)
Jesus is telling us that no one except God the Father knows the “day and hour” of the second coming. If they say that they do, then they’re making a claim in contradiction to Jesus’ own words in Scripture.

People have been predicting the end for thousands of years. I can almost guarantee that eventually somebody will get it right.

So couple of thoughts on this. First, we have been in the “last days” since the Incarnation (Heb 1:1-2). Second, there have been people who have said that we are near the Second Coming many times. There were “warnings” at the end of the first Millennium, during World War 1, during World War 2, in the 1970s (which I remember well), at the end of the Second Millennium, and now. Jesus will come when he’s ready; I personally do not worry about that.
What I do is pray, keep myself out of mortal sin, and try to drag as many people as I can, kicking and screaming into the Church. I would suggest that you not worry about private revelations and trust Jesus will take care of you. Be at peace.

Are we in the end times? Yes, for the past 2000 years we have been waiting for Christ and a new heaven and earth. Each day brings us closer to that. And yes there are signs to look for. But look for the signs of your own end time. That will probably happen before the second coming as it has for billions of people. And antichrists are in your life right now at this moment.

2. Open to interpretation
3 like a doctor telling you something. If the doctor said “in two days, you will have a heart attack at 3:03 pm while you are at mile marker 16 on the freeway then they doctor is false. If he says “look, you are fat, I see corroded blocked arteries and you can’t run a mile if McDonald’s was a mile away and closing in 20 minutes, get your life right boy”. Or if he said, “look, you are 93, I bet it n the next 20 years or so you will be gone” Then you could give each example of end times it’s due.

Simply look through history at the predictions of the 2nd coming that have been erroneous, be logical, and realize that indeed, only God knows, and Jesus’ second coming will happen when it happens. Our goal is to be ready, whenever that may be.

Absolutely. The OP stands a far greater chance, statistically speaking, of dying of COVID 19 than experiencing the end times with the reign of the antichrist. The good news is that in either case all you have to do is love Jesus, keep His commands and use the sacraments to remain in a state of grace. I don’t worry one second about the end times as much as I do driving around town in mortal sin or outside of a state of grace!!!

No, it’s the same old bunch of confused or attention-seeking people claiming God told them the big secret. You can rest assured God did no such thing.
People have been claiming over and over for centuries that they know when the world is going to end because God told them or they figured it out. They are always wrong. Ignore them and use your time more productively.
Here is a list of all the dates that people already claimed the world was supposed to end on. The world is obviously still right here.
P.S. I hope you’re not the same person who has already posted here under about 10 previous accounts worrying about the end of the world.
