Ok I just want to add this. Before you as a Catholic read listen to or put any stock or wonderment to any private revelation it is important that you familiarize yourself with scripture. You need to know what the inspired Word of God says before anything else. Please. Read and study our Bible.

You should read Mathew 24 and 25, Mark 13, and Luke 21…we do not know the day or the hour this is true…what is also true is that Jesus said that we could recognize the signs of these times:
Earthquakes, Famines, Pestilence, Fearful events, False Prophets, Apostasy, Persecution of Christians, and the gospel will be preached in the whole world. That last one is particularly interesting for me due to some private revelation.
Why?
Because for the last hundred years…and even a few hundred years there have been some church approved or supported private revelations where an “illumination of conscience” is prophesied. Could this happen tomorrow? maybe. This year? possibly. This century? potentially…but WE DON’T KNOW haha
The point is the illumination is supposedly going to happen to literally everyone, everywhere, which would be particularly good grounds for knowing the gospel truly has been preached everywhere. All of this is speculation however.
What I do think you should do is prepare like Christians have been doing for the last 2000 years. Go to confession regularly and invite others to go with you. It will be OK, because Jesus is in charge. Though I do believe that now is a good a time as any to wake people up to it POTENTIALLY being the time. Though I will say most of the criteria…at least in this period of the church is lining up particularly noticeable.
My two cents: go to confession, invite others, read the bible, go to mass, receive the Eucharist, talk about these things with the people you love, learn the faith and be ready to teach it, but you should already be doing these things! so get with it haha!.. hope it helps.

Hello Catholics Unite!
A wonderful question. We all wonder about Beloved Jesus The Savior of Children and Families, Friends, close Acquaintances(like coworkers), with Neighbors. We have so many close to our hearts.
~These times have been distressing to be sure. Yet, we must remember that in The Glad Tidings(Gospels) Jesus so concerned for each of us, tells us by God’s Always Available Divine Blessings to avoid doubt, worry, & fear - God knows we fall short - and is always,
available to hear our prayers to help sooth, returning the Joy of The Lord is our Strength to each of our hearts. This helps us in our caring for family as we always do, to do the normal things in households, sharing God’s Loving Kindness in tender concern for one another, of course, especially kids, as we know.

Isn’t is just so very wonderful that Jesus Christ came to Save us!
Once we focus on that, we truly live more on how in daily life to do the things that say ‘I love you, you are important to me, you’re in my heart so deep.’ We know, of course, God Teaches our hearts all of the time in these things… sometimes the difficulties of life cloud our minds… but returning to focus on loving concern in every day life; makes the heart overflow with such exuberant joy!

The signs of the time will always be here, for sure, Jesus told us, though that The Kingdom of God is Always at hand… to ask, seek, and knock in everyday life to show love in charitable loving kindness, yes?
What a day of rejoicing! when Jesus The King of hearts Returns!
Of course, all of the truly evil culprits will be led away(ref. 149)…
Alas!, though, anguish, stress, harsh pain, war no more!
Every tear wiped from Children’s and our eyes! So much heartfelt hugs! So much warm smiles of greetings! All of us, who are God’s Family will be led by The Holy Ministering Loving Angels from the four winds to the Wedding Banquet of The Lamb of God! Way more than only human, Complete Joyful Peace & Harmony Well Being for our families!

Which “Church-approved revelations” might these be? We are not allowed to post material from unapproved private revelations here and I am not aware of which (if any) “Church-approved revelations” in the “last hundred years” teach a worldwide “illumination” is coming, and you did not identify which one you are talking about.Because for the last hundred years…and even a few hundred years there have been some church approved or supported private revelations where an “illumination of conscience” is prophesied.

When I was in high school some “prophet” said the world would end on January 3rd, 1960. This was the first doomsday prophecy I was aware of. I was very concerned. I asked my father. He said “Are you in the state of grace?” I answered yes. He replied, “Then what are you worried about?” Good advice them good advice now.

It’s my understanding that St. Faustina did experience a personal illumination of conscience and that it is further likely that at the time of judgment for each of us, whether that’s at the end of the world or at our own personal deaths (Or earlier if we pray for it and the Lord grants it), we will have a similar experience. Bl. Anna Maria Taigi also spoke briefly of people having an “Illumination of Conscience” at the end of the world.The writings of St. Faustina for one…
However, these legitimate and approved private revelations usually get lumped together with the unapproved Garabandal apparitions that went on at great length about a purported Warning and a worldwide Illumination of Conscience where God would cause everybody in the world to have one at the same time and then give them time to repent before they’re judged, etc. Garabandal isn’t approved. Sometimes people throw in unapproved stuff from Medj or Fr. Michel Rodrigue, etc as well. People should be very wary of any site that lumps together material from approved and unapproved private revelations. Often, the approved revelations of St. Faustina are being used to somehow lend credence to unapproved revelations, or those pushing the site will insist that Garabandal and Medj are approved when they are not.

I understand that you pretty much view all unapproved revelation as stuff that shouldn’t be looked at, at all. But you have to consider that many of these unapproved private revelations are not condemned. Unapproved does not mean condemned. Many of these are unapproved simply because what the seers have stated has not come to fulfillment yet. So I understand your wariness at believing them, but I would say that you should be equally wary of condemning them too early.
All private revelations were once unapproved, don’t forget this. Many approved ones were once looked at as ridiculous.

Don’t know where you get that idea.
I have a number of unapproved revelations I 100% believe. (Though Medj and Garabandal aren’t among them.)
However, we’re not allowed to discuss unapproved private revelations on the forum. That is why I asked.
