I agree! I would love if we went back to kneeling to receive also:)
 
I will be praying daily for Pope Francis. The nun that taught me said that if Satan could sight one inch of good to be done in the world, the thing would shift heaven and earth if it could to stop is. Pope Franics has a vision for The Church and if he is successful in implementing that vision (and in hope it wil llive on long after his time, with lasting impact on The Church) then he will need all the prayer we can give him.
Secular commentators said this morning that not only is Pope Francis a deeply spiritual man of The Lord and His Gospel - but that he is not afraid to stand alone if necessary. All I think will be important qualities in the days ahead after all the celebration, novelty and the ‘honeymoon period’ comes to an end.

Facebook ain’t always what it’s cracked up to be!! Here in the states, prospective employers ask for access to your social sites to discover what kind of “character” they might be hiring!!
And No matter what you post, no matter if you delete, it is theirs forever to do with what they please!!
If you are telling me that twitter is a different situation, then I 'll reconsider!

Hmmm, I once heard about this. It’s absurd for a potential employer to do such a thing. And it’s sad that folks succumb to such a demand. But I heard it has been banned. Or maybe it was just in one state. 🤷

The same holds true for CAF and your email account(s). 🙂 If one does not post stupid things, there is really nothing to worry about. I am sure the pope isn’t concerned about whether he could delete what he has tweeted.

The same holds true for Twitter. :yup: But you can simply join and follow the pope. You don’t need to tweet anything. And if no one is following you, you would basically be tweeting to yourself. 🙂 But you can read what the pope posts or just join to increase his number of followers which is my main point. xD Many on CAF have done so, I guess.
 
I’m certainly hoping for the best and always praying for Pope Francis. One can do no less.

Well, that’s it in a nutshell, because CAF does indeed have a specific agenda that is not about ‘stupid things.’ 😛

You can see kindness pouring out of this man’s heart. It’s so evident to everyone that this man is humble, kind and sincere.

We are so lucky!!!

Even atheists are impressed with Pope Francis. This is just what our church needs.

My mother, a devout Protestant, loved Pope John XXIII.
I truly believe she would have loved Pope Francis while here.
I truly believe she is loving him now, just from a little farther away…:heaven:

Actually, I believe we have a duty to pray for him and the entire Church. I would urge we use much prudence in the reading of all these articles. Seems everyone has an agenda these days and it is so easy to mis-direct the meaning of a thing to that which we, ourselves, want it to be.
 
The secular press is having fun comparing Pope Francis with Pope Benedict xvi, even to the point of lauding the former’s black shoes as against the latter’s red. This praising Pope Francis by disparaging his predecessor shows a bankruptcy of journalistic ideas and ethics.
