I am having the shawl material made into vests that I can wear with long skirts. Humility implies honesty, an awareness of who I am in God’s sight. I am His child whether I wear something on my head or not…

Just be comfortable with your decision, pray for the grace to be able to make peace with it, whatever it is.I’ve never quite understood the need to come and argue against veiling… when I feel confident of a decision I don’t feel the need to go around justifying myself. And while I haven’t read this entire thread through I haven’t seen any suggestions that there’s anything wrong with not covering.
Veiling isn’t required. But some of us do feel called to it. If you don’t, that’s okay. You don’t need to try to invalidate the call some of us do feel, just because you don’t.
