It is not 50/50 shared, but she’s happy and that’s what matters…
That’s some passive-aggressive stuff right there.

I don’t think you need a point-by-point analysis anymore than you’ve gotten already. I empathize because I’m guilty of the passive-aggressive nonsense from time to time. I’m grateful that my wife snaps me out of it and I quickly realize that there are few things that are less attractive to women than that kind of moody nonsense. Probably second only to acting like a total doormat. So some of your actions are concocting a nasty cocktail that turns her off big time.

There are subtle and romantic ways to steer here away from television and towards yourselves as a couple. And that’s what it needs to be. It can’t be a “pay attention to me” thing it needs to be a “hey, babe, let’s pay attention to us” thing.

OP, Im sorry that you even have to have a TV in your home.
I don’t have a TV and am not planning to ever have one.
My last boyfriend - who I still admire - didn’t have a TV either and what a relief that was…
Even he was critical of the internet where too many people also sit hours and hours every day… its addictive and foolish. I was so happy about these traits of his…

Some preacher once said, having a TV in your living room is like having a latrine in the middle of your house… I tend to agree with that harsh statement.

TV is a huge waste of time… fictional people living fictional lives which for a short moment you feel part of while watching… and often the messages are empty or immoral.
I understand your frustration.
