I’ve been thinking of running away from Canada for a while. I’m planning on doing something that may get me in a lot of trouble with regards to ‘hate crimes’ (Don’t worry, I’m not breaking the law, but then again, quoting the Bible these days leads to criminal offences).

I’m planing on heading back to India if things do really get worse. Despite that the country is still majorly Hindu and Muslim, at least I am free to be a Catholic, and the majority fo the country still holds similar morals with concern to homosexuality etc. Unlike The US or Canada, I believe India is the world’s only working democracy, one where the government wouldn’t dare to go against the people. We have a long and bloody history and violence will erupt. It’s a shame, but in the long run the hovering unspoken threat does work. Indians may tolerate a lot of things but I see nothing on the horizon that shows that the Country will give in to liberalism anytime soon, despite that I do notice many youth and some in the press lately try to imitate the liberalism of the West and what they see on American TV shows and Hollywood movies. Ah hell… eventually it’ll probably turn out the same anyway…

I have been hearing some Hindus are attacking christians and their churches in India, and it has been getting worse. I think there was even an incident involving a Sister of Charity. India might be moving toward religious intolerance faster than you think…
