You wanted advice on how to keep your ex happy so you wouldn’t see court again and have to pay more money.

Here’s my advice, Get back to Mass. Put God first. And work out how to baptise those kids.

Get your gf into the Church, set a date, get married. In the Church.

I have tried remedial math, I don’t understand math past a certain point which is after beginning fractions.

I have tried several times, with extra help. Some people just don’t get math.

Why not get into paramedics, isn’t that the next step after emt

Yes, they are my kids, but they are my ex-wife’s kids. They also have a say in the matter and she has a court order saying she has a bigger say than I do.

I will not go against that court order as I will risk more than having to pay more money.

No, it’s I will no longer discuss my relationships. Has nothing to do with the answer.

I should have done this from the start and didn’t, so I am doing it now.
Again, you began this thread in which you asked a question about your relationship. You’re uncomfortable hearing people actually respond.

My relationship in regards to one situation, not everything else that has been asked of me.

I don’t want to be a paramedic either. I have seen what they do, and it is beyond my ability and way too much responsibility on my head in regards to knowing what medications to push, when and why.

I know my limitations and being a Paramedic is beyond mine.

I will take what others have said under advisement and look at something better that I am able to do.

No one is asking you too go against the court.

You get back to God first. And let the rest happen.

Be that example your entire family needs to see.

Be that person so strong in his conviction that Mass is crucial to him,.

Let God shine through you to them. Teach your kids about God at home.

Get kids bibles, and bible stories. Celebrate Christmas and Easter with them. Teach them about Mary.

On One of your other threads you state you are leaving the church. That’s not the answer.

Great. But be open to everything. Don’t say you can’t or couldn’t. What’s an EMT? What skills do they need?

We have trade schools here as well as uni. Tradies have a great life and great income.

I haven’t left the church yet.

I will not bring my kids to my parent’s home to watch them so I can go to church. They live 45 minutes from me. basically near their mom.

EMT = Emergency Medical Technician.

I am on an ambulance all day.

Plumbers, electricians, welders can always find work and the pay is very good!

Traveling distance vs. honoring the Sabbath at Mass. Tough call…

Know that many people on this forum travel much further distances to attend Mass.

Is there a church near your parents home, is there a church near your gf home, your in laws home. Think outside the box.

God is more important then travel.

That would require me to go to school during the week when either I have my kids or I am at work.

I would have to do something online in my free time and the stuff you mentioned is hands on.

Plumbers are one of the highest paid here, as are bricklayers. Most bricklayers I know of only work 6 months. They earn that much.

I have a dispensation from going to Mass because of my situation which the priest is more qualified at knowing about.

Online study can be hard, You have to be super motivated and find the time.

But you can do it.

With EMT are there also paramedics on board?

How about call centre, call in emergency stuff

Yes, we all know that. We’ve all read your posts. You’re making the choice to avoid traveling a distance rather than attending Mass.

Only when I work Advanced Life Support is there a Paramedic, otherwise it’s two EMTs.

The other thing I have to look at is that I get my kids four days a week, how many jobs will only let me work three days a week?
