If CAF were not so laden with arrogant, self righteous, meagerly- informed-but-sure-we-are right, Cradle Catholics, it would have been a clearer path.

Now about your split club tickets…

Sigh. I guess my search for a forum of knowledgeable humble people goes on. Well, only about a million websites left to check. :o 🙂

But hey, at least now I know that the problem isn’t with Catholics in general but with Cradle Catholics. 👍 😉

Count me in as a cradle Catholic; hope I’m not on Commenter’s list of deplorables!~
😃

For the record, lest it appear that I’m seeking to get commenter in trouble, I understand

to be satirical – not an attack on cradle Catholics, but a calling-out of such attacks.

Sorry to all the Catholics for foisting myself on them. I really tried not to embarrass y’all, but you’re stuck with me as of a couple of hours ago.

God bless and good night. Christ is risen!

Awesome news!

👍👍👍

Even I’m on my list of deplorables.
As a “convert” and long time member of CAF, I wouldn’t depict most of our cradle Catholics as you have. Indeed, I’ve found them, as I’m sure Edwin has, to be helpful, prayerful, loving people with a lot of patience and charitable understanding for non-Catholics seeking for the truth. I thank everyone of them for their contribution to my own education as a Catholic and their patience with me! I :tiphat: to them all!

Welcome home Edwin. God bless you and yours as your faith journey continues to union with God. :crossrc:

For instant relief from arrogant, self righteous, meagerly- informed-but-sure-we-are right, Cradle Catholics, try defending Catholicism on youTube. Pick any John MacAurther video…

Congratulations and welcome home.

Welcome home, we’ll keep ya!!! God Bless, Memaw

FWIW, while cradle Catholics may be more likely to be clueless about Protestantism, I have had a lot more problems on the whole with converts. But in general, the problem here and everywhere is arrogance and lack of charity, and that’s a problem not confined to cradle Catholics, or indeed to Catholics, or Protestants, or atheists. It’s a universal human problem.
