I do you recall your posts as well, Contarini. While I may not end up at the same place as you it does give me some encouragement that I am not wasting my time in my own journey.

I am happy that you are at peace with your conversion! 🙂

Selfishly this saddens me 😛 as people like you, JonNC, GKC and others, do more for the good of Catholicism on the other side of the Tiber than 100 great men can do on this side.

I had forgotten your wife is an Episcopal priest. God works in mysterious ways. Perhaps someday she will follow you.

Just sit in the back of the Church so you can duck out of Mass early and you will be fine. You will blend right in !

I second the sentiment.

If we could get more on the protestant side thinking and using your and GK’s rational I’d be a happy camper.
 
I joined the Church thru RCIA and confirmation
Easter Vigil 2011 and have had a easy transition
from my Baptist background(I was baptized in
a Baptist Church). I now am convinced that it
was the Holy Spirit who led me “home” and
I am now “officially” submitting to the Magisterium
altho I have difficulty, I am sure I made the
right choice.

I, for one, will try to influence them protestants, best I can.

Heck, I tried to influence Contarini, over the years, exactly in the path he took. Not that I can claim any credit. He was on track all the way.
