What’s the point of living

Why are we here?
To bring down a blessing from God every day and to be a force for good in this world.

When you treat women in a Godly way, you are a witness to the Gospel. Keep doing that, kay? lol Women need Godly men.
 
There are many regional and national catholic youth retreats and conferences if you google these. Make it your aim to go to one, or two, or even four of these a year. Devout catholics exist.

Anything done for Jesus saves souls.
Eg: St Edmund Rice loved going to pubs to listen to irish music. A conversation he had at one such a session converted an aetheist poet, who since that moment started writing catholic poetry.
Your mission is to spread the love of Jesus to all creation.

No small act of goodness, whether it is a chore/ word/ smile/ hobby/ career/ social event, is ever wasted.

But you are correct: stay away from bad company / sinful places /sinful material / sinful situations.
A lot of the modern socializing scenes revolve around fornication, and very impure music/ fashion styles, and this is not of God at all.

Have you ever thought of priesthood?

Not everyone will have the vocation of marriage.

The pope has daily duties which include both political and religious – meeting with heads of state, maintaining diplomatic relationships with more than a hundred nations, conducting liturgies, appointing new bishops, and traveling. He teaches pastoral lessons.
