What are some biblical prophecies that came true and prove the Bible's validity?

In the interpretation, Daniel prophesies that there will be four succeeding kingdoms (starting with the Babylonians)
You bolded the word “interpretation,” presumably to dismiss the prophecy. However, the “interpretation” is itself in the book of Daniel. The interpretation of Daniel’s dream is in the OT text. The blog author expounded on that point in this other post.
but New Jerusalem Bible (modern Catholic translation) - ’ a gang of vilains closing in around me, as if to hack off my hands and feet’
On this verse, it seems you attempted to dismiss the prophecy of hands and feet piercing because other linguistic interpretations use different phrases. However, it appears that in the Septuagint and other pre-New Testament translations, the passage was understood as "pierced."The syntactical form of the Hebrew phrase appears to be lacking a verb, and this is supplied in the Aramaic targum which reads “they bite like a lion my hands and my feet”. The Septuagint has ωρυξαν χειράς μου και πόδας (“they have dug/pierced my hands and feet”), evidently taking the Hebrew to be based on the root ‏כרה, supported by the Dead Sea Scrolls, Hahal Hever (5/6Hev1b f8_9:12) ‏כרו ]ידי . ‘Dig’ has been understood in the sense of ‘pierced’ (as in Psalm 40:7/6), hence the rendering in the Syriac (“they have pierced my hands and feet”). Needless to say, any affliction to “hands and feet” which is universally in the various interpretations, is fairly specific to the type of execution.

Your response neither addresses the public display of the execution, nor that the victims clothes would be gambled amongst them. All three taken together, that’s not a bad prophecy.
If the idea was to make it more lavish, of course it could be.
This response didn’t really address the author’s point that the Messiah had to come prior to 70 A.D. because otherwise the Second Temple wouldn’t be still standing, as indicated by the Haggai and Malachi prophecies.

Ever play “telephone”?
That’s not a good comparison. In the game “telephone”, part of the fun is in the next person in line not knowing what the first person really said…and in the person passing on the message saying it very quietly and not being able to repeat it. This was not the case in ancient history. This was a culture that passed on much of it’s history verbally. The equivalant “telephone” game to those days would be more like the first person passing on the message, and every single person therafter, upon hearing it, looking to the first person and saying, “I heard [this], is that correct?”. At which time the message would be clarified/corrected, or approved as indeed the correct message.

Have you ever read “The Case for Christ” by Lee Strobel? He was an aethiest at the time of his investigation into Christ and he puts forward some great arguments from both sides of the fence.

I’ve heard the argument from a number of people. At least one was on Yahoo Answers; another, maybe on Youtube. I don’t really find Messianic prophecy convincing, because it’s not even proven Jesus existed and the authors of the NT could easily have doctored their stories to fit “prophecy.”
I hear this from atheists.

Why would anyone (lots of people actually) make it all up? You think they wanted to be martyred? What good would that do?

Please explain and copy/paste the verse(s).
That Jesus said He will be with His Church for all times. The fact that the Church has still existed since for over 2000 years is testimony enough that someone is leading, guiding and protecting her. All those other kingdoms come and go but not His Kingdom. The Church is the best evidence of all of the prophecies which the Bible points to. Even our Lord gave a prophecy that He will show great signs in the Heavens to help His Church to continue her struggle and witness against those forces which will try to dismantle her. One of those great mysteries of His signs was revealed to St. Maria Faustina when He stated that a great sign of this sort will happen very soon. He said that as soon as the earth enters into a great struggle perhaps of hostility He will do something to turn these events into a great witness. He states a great darkness will come and through this darkness He will put His great sign in the Heavens for all to see. The Lord Jesus will put the sign of the Cross in the Heavens which will light up for all to see. This is the moment to when the Scriptures say Jesus will have put a great sign in the Heavens and it is recorded in the Gospels. Now no matter who you are,Christian or nonChristian, you are going to take notice of the sign. This will be the moment God will help His struggling Church and many peoples will be drawn into it. This prophecy was given to St. Maria Faustina in her Diary “Divine Mercy in my soul”. Read this book and you will get a better understanding of who Jesus is and to what means He has to save souls particularly through His action of Mercy. For that is what prophecy does. It reveals His Mercy.

I don’t think the things mentioned here would sway somebody determined to not believe.
