not sure but I will pray a Hail Mary for you!

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Anxiety anti-dote. Take a deep breath and let it out slowly. Concentrate on your breathing. Know that anxiety may be a sign that professional help is needed. Medication and counseling can help. I will pray for you also.

I am praying for you…you can find beautiful prayers at the link I posted below. God bless you!

A PRAYER FOR PEACE OF MIND (By Saint Francis Xavier Cabrini)

FORTIFY me with the grace of Your Holy Spirit and give Your peace to my soul that I may be free from all needless anxiety, solicitude and worry. Help me to desire always that which is pleasing and acceptable to You so that Your will may be my will.

I ask God to “right my mind” when I feel anxious. Most times anxiety is related to the thoughts we think. I also find it very helpful to sit with Jesus in eucharistic adoration. Actually, nothing helps me more than this and I feel good because I know Jesus wants our company.

I will say a prayer for you.

God belss,
Heather

Prayer to Our Lady
Consoler of the Afflicted

O most Holy Virgin, who are fitly called the
Consoler of the Afflicted, obtain for me of Jesus
Christ your Son, the grace never to lose heart in
the day of trouble, and to seek no comfort but
in Jesus and yourself. Grant that I may ever
have confidence in your maternal heart pierced
with the sword of sorrow, and that I may find
therein my true and only consolation. Amen

I will be praying for you, and I hope that you’ll find this prayer to be of help:

Prayer against Depression - by Saint Ignatius of Loyola

O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.

I’ve suffered though that myself. I found myself more and more turning to the rosary. Then turning to saints to intercede on my behalf and say it for / with them. As for the symptoms, to me, it seemed like there was a battle going on. So I began adding Michael the Archangel to my list of saints I was asking for help, him being the #1 fighter of battles. Things have improved. Feel free to send me a private note if I can help.

The rosary has helped me, with my anxieties. The stillness of the moment and letting go of thinking brings about peace. Quieting the mind of thinking and just being in the moment with God, saying…

Lord, I am happy to be, right here, right now
Lord, only this moment exists, right here, right now
Lord, there is enough of your love in me, to feel complete
Lord, You and me, right here, right now
Lord, You are with me, right here, right now
Lord, in You only now exists, so You are with me, right here, right now
Lord, your love, right here, right now

I have learned, that keeping my mind silent and being in the now, makes anxieties go away. I do not have to worry about tomorrow, because it doesn’t exist and if God allows it to exist, He is already there waiting for me, so why worry.

God is with you NOW!🙂

One of the best is the words of our Savior Himself:

Matthew 6:25-30

Do Not Worry

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Christ leaves you His peace.

I also tend to grab my Rosary, but instead of praying the Rosary I might use it to slowly and prayerfully repeat St Faustina’s prayer - ‘Jesus, I trust in You’. You can perhaps alternate it with others ‘Mother Mary, I trust in You’ or something that is meaningful and reassuring to you.

If you’re anxious about something in particular you can modify the prayer a little - 'Jesus I trust in You to help me with … (insert xyz person/situation that’s stressing you out).

I usually feel calm after two goes round the Rosary beads at most.

“Mary take over.” This short prayer has worked wonders for me in answer to many things. Anxiety especially. Just repeat it as needed. Picture yourself handing yourself and/or your problems over to Mary.

And there is always the wonderful 23rd Psalm.

The Lord is my Shepherd.
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul.
He leadeth me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death,
I will fear no evil for Thou art with me.
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the face of mine enemies,
Thou annointest my head with oil.
My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.

I find this Psalm a wonderful comfort. Jesus is our Shepherd, and He is always there for us.

I hope this helps a bit. God bless you. :byzsoc:

Lord, help me to live this day quietly, easily
To lean on Thy great strength trustfully, restfully
To await the unfolding of Thy will patiently, serenely
To meet others peacefully, joyously
To face today and tomorrow confidently, courageously
