yellow, the color of butter, not lemon…
sorry - reference was to Mr. Blandings Buildings His Dream House, when Mrs. Blandings was telling the painter the specific colors she wanted. After she walked away, he said, yellow, blue green.

If you get cable, I think TCM has a “noir” evening. I don’t know which day or if it’s in the wee hours of the morning.

For ages I’ve been trying to find out which version of A Christmas Carol is the one with a tall, thin Marley. I know it’s an old one, maybe the first or second, but I don’t think it’s the one with Alistair Sims. I saw it only once and thought it was wonderful, perhaps the best one. Do you have any idea which one it might be and who the actor who plays Marley is?

If I had to guess I would say the Alistair Sims version. I remember Marley being tall and quite skinny.

Lonesome dove, Mr Blandings builds his dream house, True Grit. (Not the remake. Although it was good)

It’s possible, but the pictures of Sims in the role don’t ring a bell for me. Thanks anyway.
