The context maybe different in France than in US, because almost all people who leads youth, as well as the majority of the people who worked for the Church or the parishes at some degree are volunteers. The priest or the lay person in charge would not agree with their views, but did they had the choice, or the knowledge of all that was said? They can remoove 50% these youngs adults in charge, but is the mission would still be possible? Probably not.
And to complain to the higher level was not possible. The lay person (an employee) who was responsible of the youth at the diocesan level was someone who had cohabited and didn’t accept that someone made any critics on that because it is “how their relationship was”. (Said that at a meeting were she was invited to bring her testimony on the marriage sacrament).
We don’t have a “Respect Life” offices in the dioceses here. At least in those I know.
