I assume yoga pants are always super tight.
But I don’t do yoga so what do I know?

Yes. I agree with Father Kunkel on this:Do you think women should only wear skirts and dresses (mainly, no pants)?
Very true Tis_Bear, it’s all about context…A bikini at the beach, yoga pants in the gym. The point I was trying to make is: you can do sports without tight-fit clothing. You’ll see this twisted in that some take [@Bruised_Reed cough cough] tight-fits and sports as synonymous. This is not correct, and reveals lack of true sports culture. I’ve trained with Olympic athletes that would neveruse tight-fits. And they’ve been using those machines for decades without any issue.Well, if they’re being used for the purpose of doing yoga or other workouts
I don’t know what a PT is. [With sport and religion I’ll take the Ferrari.] I only know instructors that dedicated a lifetime to the practice of an art/sport. They can spot any corporal incorrection a mile away with baggy clothes, and I do mean the slightest detail in intricate sequences [like the judges at gymnastics].The PT or instructor need to see my form to make needed corrections.
I’m supporting Tis_Bear on this one. As a man, I find those leggings can be disconcerting. [The same way I’d rather not be faced with excessive cleavage. I’d rather not see.]If someone is wearing them on the street then I feel the same about them as I do about leggings - if you’re over 10 years old, you better be wearing a long shirt or tunic that hangs down over them or you’re going to look stupid.
Are you coming down with something? Probably should take some vitamins.[@Bruised_Reed cough cough]
Personal trainer; I spelled it out earlier and hoped people would understand. Sorry, I didn’t spell it out.I don’t know what a PT is.
I think my Pilates instructor can, my physical therapist can, but the personal trainers I’ve had? I’m not confident they could. I need to see it too. They can spot any corporal incorrection a mile away with baggy clothes, and I do mean the slightest detail in intricate sequences [like the judges at gymnastics].
I’m probably biased because every sport I was involved with close fitting clothing was better, safer. I didn’t need a skate blade catching on flared leggings or loose sleeves. So, the OP was about modesty. And yes, I believe you can do sports not needing tight-fits.
Tunics and leggings seem like they are back in and I am thrilled. This was my signature look back in the mid-late 90s and I had fun with it. So many layering options. If someone is wearing them on the street then I feel the same about them as I do about leggings - if you’re over 10 years old, you better be wearing a long shirt or tunic that hangs down over them or you’re going to look stupid.
May I ask what those sports are?I’m probably biased because every sport I was involved with
Please see the articles by Father Kunkel. Why are pants immodest?
