Sorry, this is a ridiculous male whine fest. There is no policy of paying women more just because they are female. What is true is that women generally need to work harder to get the same recognition as men and, surprisingly, when that is noticed they get promoted. Let’s be honest, guys generally don’t like to be beaten by women. It’s OK if you feel this way; but learn from it, clam up, and move on with better motivation. If you don’t believe me ask the women you know about this and listen instead of mansplaining.

I worked in an industry where there were more woman than men. And actually think that worked in my favour. A lot of female management don’t trust their female counterparts.

Yeah, where I live there is no tax on food bought in a grocery store (there IS a tax on restaurant food) and no tax on prescription meds (otc is taxed though).

Where do you live?! Sounds great!!

Washington State. No state income tax either. However the sales tax on all non-food items is steep, as are the property taxes and licensing fees.

Sorry. It just didn’t come across that way to me. I highly doubt they’re the mainstream of female positions on some of those things, but it’s always possible you’re not entirely informed on their positions.

Exactly.

I’ve been a hiring manager at everything from small mom/pop to Fortune 100 international corporations. Never once was I given a “men vs women” pay range when I negotiated salaries, in fact, I’d have been written up for using gender as a determining factor in pay.
