Catholic Book Publishing also sells the volumes individually. We are presently using Volume III.

I checked out the website. They are charging around $40 a piece for a softcover book. That seems rather pricey, especially since a set of all four books with leather covers was $185. For $40, I would expect a hardcover book, rather than a softcover book.

The LOTH is not available in hardcover, only simulated leather (color) and leather (black). At Catholic Book Publishing, Volume III is at $35.95. The complete set of colored simulated leather covers is $145 and includes the current Guide and the Supplement.

I personally prefer the colored binding; I find it more attractive and distinctive. It is also more durable than hardcover.

If you’re interested in the 4 volume set, try Ebay. I bought the set in leather for just over $100. They were used, but in excellent condition.
