Hi,Someone earlier mentioned Chalcedon… from the February 1999 issue of This Rock:
For the first thousand years after the birth of Christ, there was no distinction between “Catholic” and “Christian.” Jehovah’s Witnesses and others who do not accept Jesus’ divinity are, by definition, non-Christian.
Christians hold (indeed, have always held) that public or “general” revelation ended at the death of the last apostle (Catechism of the Catholic Church 66, 73). LDS and others who hold, as an article of faith and an official statement of doctrine, that public revelation continues are also, by definition, non-Christian. (Now you know why someone who’s only ever been baptized Mormon and converts to Catholicism is rebaptized.)
You seem to me to be the kind of person who completely ignores what other people are saying, and just likes to tell us your side of the story regardless of how other people may argue against it. That means that unfortunately you are not the kind of person with whom I can carry out a meaningful, logical gospel discussion.
