Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, accomplished in His perfect obedience, the salvation of all sinners. In His sacrifice, He has made righteous all those who are baptized and believe in Him, trusting in His righteousness; earning for them eternal salvation.

Everyone has spoken the truth, but our Lord Jesus Christ did even more:
“The Son of God became man in order to restore all creation, in one supreme act of praise, to the One who made it from nothing. Considering the contents of the question however and the objections non-christians may have ill put down some purely secular results of the coming of christ
He in his coming caused the elimination/or near elimination in christendom of the following evils and errors. This is since the 200 thousand years and clearly the rise in unfortunate secular ideologies has led to a resurgance of some of these things.
Infanticide
widespread sexual immorality
abortion
animal sacrifice
slavery
this is a very rudimentary list, and many other things could be said to come from his teachings.

Historic ancient creeds are very important in their proper place. I love them too. I consider myself to be a creedal Christian. Can you expound in your own words what Jesus actually accomplished by His perfect life and sacrificial death on the cross?

Excellent, God is reconciling the world to Himself through Jesus Christ! I believe Jesus came to rescue us from our sins, bringing us near to God. How do you think the ministry of reconciliation is coming along from our perspective?

Sinners? As in Christians? I suppose that he provides Christians with the hope of a better future. It’s not something that I am terribly knowledgeable about.
I respect Jesus mainly because he taught of many good morals. (Some bad, but most of them were to ultimately help make the people of Judea live moral lives. For this, I respect him.)

This question could be better answered by Christians. He taught us to love our neighbor in the same way that we love ourselves. He taught us to not covet that which we don’t have. He taught us to show compassion for the weak, poor, and dejected.
One of my favorite stories in the New Testament is when Jesus encounters a group of religious about to stone a prostitute. Being an observant Jew, you would expect Jesus to pick up the stones and fulfill his Torah Law. But No! Jesus says we should show compassion. He comes into the…temple, I think…and says “He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone!”
What an amazing statement. He was a rebel of his day. Jesus stood for what was right even when it went against the norms. The story is one of my favorites and always reminds me to be compassionate and to not judge others so harshly.
