I try my hardest to follow Gods Laws and Commandments. I do not follow an organized religion. Organized religion especially the catholic church is the the modern day pharisees. All modern day religion is Pagan at heart. Easter, Christmas, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and so on is not biblical but man created.

I need to go out, but you should research the 12 tribes of Israel. I learned from countless hours of bible study. I highly recommend you read the book of Deuteronomy at least 5 times to have a complete understanding. The Trans-America slave trade was prophesied in Deuteronomy.
Deuteronomy 28:68
And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
That describes slavery in Africa and America . Those black people were sold to the Africans and Americans. Blacks were sold to their enemies (Gentiles) and they became slaves. And they still are today. They fit the prophecy better than any other race on the earth. Blacks were the only people sold on slave ships.
The 2nd Egypt is America as described above the keyword in Deuteronomy 28:68 is the world Egypt “Again” meaning America is the new Egypt. Those slave people are the true Israelites.
I can not teach you, you need to go into the bible and learn. Forget about what the catholic church tells you or anyone. You need to study history and the bible.
The Catholic Church and all other religion just causes “Confusion”. First the pope says there is no purgatory then there is, then there isn’t. Then you can be atheist and go to heaven. His job just causes confusion among the people.

I kindly suggest taking your own advice, and learning history and Scripture. For instance, the history as spoken by the Church fathers, which shows the unbroken chain of teaching from then till now within the Church. Or the actual teachings on limbo, which I am presuming you are mistaking for purgatory.

The reality of it is, we don’t really know what Jesus looked like. All we have are christian concepts of him.
So is it wrong to look at a crucifix and think of Jesus. Or better still, is it wrong for us to show people the crucifix hanging above the altar and say that we show Jesus crucified which is what the Mass is, the eternal offering of Jesus to the Father? Can we really say this? That this is Jesus or even a portrate of Jesus or even a christian concept of Jesus? Isn’t that dishonesty? Since we don’t really know.

My thought: take a look at all those Syrians we are always seeing on the news. Significant variations in skin color, black or brown hair, brown, blue, or green eyes. I would guess that first century Jews had a similar range of features.
