So I ask myself. Stumped. What do you do with it?
Protestants can not acknowledge any Marian apparition. It contradicts their faith. Unlike Catholics, who can accept or deny Marian apparitions and still be Catholic, Protestants have no choice in the matter. The day they accept any Marian apparition is the day they stop being Protestant.I don’t think Protestants acknowledge ANY Marian apparations, at least none of the Protestants I know do…
What and where do you base this information on? Just curious and if you say Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell I might have to laugh!Protestants can not acknowledge any Marian apparition. It contradicts their faith.
What a bigoted (and untrue) statement.Protestants can not acknowledge any Marian apparition. It contradicts their faith. Unlike Catholics, who can accept or deny Marian apparitions and still be Catholic, Protestants have no choice in the matter. The day they accept any Marian apparition is the day they stop being Protestant.
That’s what happens when you idolize the bible; You put a limit on what God can do.
It’s a bit hard for me to answer that question. What and where do you base this information on? Just curious and if you say Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell I might have to laugh!
Ok, I suppose that’s fair enough.… So, you can’t lump “all” Protestant denominations together by any means.
I think that is what I was trying to sayProtestants can not acknowledge any Marian apparition. It contradicts their faith. Unlike Catholics, who can accept or deny Marian apparitions and still be Catholic, Protestants have no choice in the matter. The day they accept any Marian apparition is the day they stop being Protestant.

And an agreement with a bigoted and untrue statement.I think that is what I was trying to sayThanks!
A very bigoted statement, IMHO.And an agreement with a bigoted and untrue statement.
And I notice you did not respond to the REST of my post in which this snippet occurred…Ok, I suppose that’s fair enough.
But I am disappointed that no Protestant has answered the poll in this thread yet.
You must admit though you are in the minority … there are always exceptions and you are probably more devoted to our Lady than many Catholics. Most protestant denominations though have little use for the devotion Catholicism has for the Mother of God … that being said individuals will believe what they want to believe. And I notice you did not respond to the REST of my post in which this snippet occurred…
And, I tried to “respond” to your poll YET you did not even give an option for “believing in Lourdes” or some such other poll answer option that would even give a Protestant the opportunity to respond in that matter.
Who’s limiting God now? Huh? If God’s omnipotent can’t He make a Protestant believe in Lourdes and Marian apparitions? Huh?
Some VERY bigoted statements are going around in this thread…
