I watched it over and over and it seems to me that the two beards do not match. Not that I doubt either image is authentic but the Divine Mercy image was painted and repainted by an artist. The Holy Shroud seems to be the best portrait we have of Him.
One has to consider that the shroud is actually a 3D image. Perhaps his beard was longer at the time of His Crucifixion.

He was most likely an olive skinned, stout, nappy headed Hebrew with a strong build and an equally strong nose - being Jewish. It’s okay I can say that.
Your description is probably he most likely, although we would really have to have a total range of possibilities for a Palestinian Jew of that time. I like the appearance of the actor that they used in “The Gospel of John.” A bit fleshy, perhaps. The people of that time didn’t eat as much as we do. What makes people attractive whatever their general appearance is their vivacity. There is something inside of them that lights them up. I am thinking who would have picked Dustin Hoffman out of a line up of actors in 1965 and said HE will be the star, and I imagine that if one who did not know the actor passed him in a store he might not pay any attention to him. But whatever his visage or physiique, surely Our Lord had a distinctive voice. All great actors do.
