What do you think of this date idea?

So much food! Mmm!

But yeah about women being a little nervous to eat so much, especially consecutively like that around a new guy. Doesn’t mean I think you should necessarily drop any of it though! Maybe (since this is obviously not a short date and you are walking) after the dessert or just after dinner, walk around some more, ask if she’d like to do anything like check out the bookstores, see a movie, stuff that’s close by and a nice break from intense eaty-talky. I’d ask her what she’d like to do, and maybe afterwards wind it up with a little romance and cannoli. 😉

Oh right, let her know you were planning to walk around town a little - she’s smart enough to not wear stiletto heels I’m sure.

What a wonderful date idea (or two dates, with all that good food!) I grew up in Boston and simply love the North End. It is a great place for walking and talking.

I followed the links and think I may have to try these places when I get up to Boston in early June.

Best of luck; I hope all goes well.

:rotfl: You know, it depends on how utilitarian the walking is and what kind of shoes she’s wearing. I dated a guy who wouldn’t pay for parking so he parked the car away from the business area of Georgetown. It was so far away we might as well have parked in Bethesda. And I was wearing cute (read: not the most comfortable) shoes.
People hate me because I walk too fast, too. 😛 See, it’s an all-round walking problem. 😛

Well, don’t keep us in suspense - did you hear back? 🙂
No, not yet, unfortunately. Last I heard from her was last year. Christmas, to be exact. What are you gonna do? Guess I just have to be patient.
