$4,000 or so for a pilgrimage to Fatima:o
That gives me another idea - enough money to go back to Turkey and share with my family the places I visited as a child, like Ephesus, Miriam Anna, Pamukele, oh, so many places we went to when I was 11 and 12 in only 18 months time. Oh, and to Istanbul too!

What a whirlwind tour that would be!

Brenda V. (who looked up Tiffany jewelry and if all they have is silver, no can do so, y’all are going to have to share those 120 bracelets among yourselves - one of my allergies 😦 is to silver)

Brenda Brenda Brenda…of course they have more than silver. :yup: (that stinks about your allergy, I’m sorry):o

Here’s another link…

They also have platinum bracelets, I believe. I am not normally a silver fan…but their silver pieces are quite lovely.

I would love to go to Italy. Hubby and I had talked about that, with him turning 50 in Jan, and me turning 40 next month…but…we’re probably going to take a nice trip up to see family in PA, and do things we never got around to doing when living there. Italy would be so amazing, though. Maybe in a year or two. 🤷

And I would love to go to Jerusalem. I just think a trip like that would be extraordinary, and most likely, life altering.:o

I have no idea what I want, but I know I’m thinking of getting DH a nice, brown leather coat. He has such a nice jacket, but the winter coat he has is from sooo long ago and small.

I’m not sure WHERE to get it from, though, esp. considering we were going to put $ limits on our present spending.

Well, like most of you, i already am looking forward to my christmas gift. It will be a Christmas with my family. Not that I haven’t done that before. Last year, I was on my medical junior internship and my rotation for christmas and new year required me to be at the hospital for a 24-36 hour duty. So I had no chance of going home for the holidays (although i live about 1 1/2 hour of boat ride away) And that was the very first time that I did not spend it with them from all of my 25 years. And now I know how sad it is for people who are alone or away and working in distant places from their loved ones during these times. It taught me to value my family more and to love them more.

As for anything material, a new cellphone would be nice 😉

May you all have the best christmas with your families this year!
Blessed Holidays to all!

 Red Microwave? Do they make those? Would you settle for a red toaster?

I did hear that, but y’all are suppose to get toasters. Sheesh.
Yes, they make microwaves in colors too now! Of course, we could all chip in a buck and get her a red toaster to go with that red microwave!

Warm. I want to get warm for Christmas. Lots of things would fit in that category - a vacation to a hot and sunny place, a nice down jacket, someone to service the heating system in my apartment, a thick sweater, or socks. However, I’m not exchanging gifts from anyone this year, so I’m going to have to buy my gifts myself. I figure I’m buying socks and pyjamas for sure, and hopefully a nice sweater, too.

From my boyfriend, I asked for jewelry. I like his taste in jewelry, and neither of us thinks it needs to be expensive. I looked at that silver jewelry in the Tiffany link, and WOW that’s pricey. I wear a ring that was probably about $25, and that’s good enough for me. My boyfriend said my Christmas gift will probably be about a month late. A mutual friend who lives a few kilometers away from my house is going to visit the Philippines, and my boyfriend will ask him to deliver the gift. I don’t know why he’d rather not mail it, but it doesn’t bother me. It’s the thought that counts.

I want my girlfriend to be happy. And my family, friends, and enemies to be happy as well.

Let’s see…I know! I want yet another ugly, oversized sweater from my MIL… or pj’s with cartoon characters on them…I’m starting to think she doesn’t like me…

I’d love to be able to wish my mother a Merry Christmas, I miss her so… sorry, bringing down the festive mood

I’d like a new sweeper, hate mine… new pots and pans would be nice. Someone to come and clean my house:thumbsup: before and after Christmas:thumbsup: 👍

I let the dog in tonight and saw a light in the neighbors window, they have their tree up already. All red lights, I thought something was burning. A bit early for the tree to be up, but that’s just me.

Target has a nice red microwave. So does Sears…y’all should know these things. So DO NOT get me a red toaster…I don’t do toast.

I want DD & SIL, DS1 & girlfriend and DS2 and fiancée at Midnight Mass with us – but that’s not going to happen since they are all too far and too much money away from us.

Sooo… I’ll settle for a warm winter coat that fits BOTH my top and my bottom and which has sleeves short enough so that I don’t look as though I’m playing ‘dress up’ in my mom’s clothing. 😃

Why do clothing designers think that if you’re 4’10" you must be pencil slim. I’ve had 3 kids, I’m no longer shaped like a 12 year old boy!

So y’all are NOT gonna send debbie an email about what to get me?
Didn’t you JUST get an iphone?

And now you want a playstation? 😛

This year I got my present early. My 9 year old son who is severely autistic, is finally showing an interest in toys and is beginning to be interested in the idea of Christmas and the trapping; the tree, stockings, nativity etc.

This is something I wasn’t sure 'd ever see, so it’s very exciting for me to look forward to him maybe actually opening the gifts that are under the tree for him. Usually I’m opening them for him and trying to get him to look at them and play with them, but I have hopes this year he’ll open them himself 🙂 :dancing:

I want to be able to go to Christmas Eve Mass without my parents being angry at me (DH and I are going to be staying with my parents this Christmas, and they are NOT happy that we are becoming Catholic).

I want my brother to get his life sorted out. And my other brother to not make any mistakes with his girlfriend situation.

I want my PR so I can have Health insurance and start making babies. 😛

I want my cats to be happy and safe while we’re gone and my dog to not think we’re abandoning him/her (we’re adopting in 1-3 weeks, and leaving for CA in 4 1/2 weeks).

Yes, many of their things are on the expensive side…but, I’m looking at just the simple silver charm bracelets…

It would be nice to win the Lottery for Christmas. But, I guess I’d have to play, then…😃

whatevergirl,

On the gift for your DH, are you talking about pots and pans or baking pans?

There are a lot of brands of silicone baking products out now-- they do look like “plastic” but are silicone. They have loaf pans, cake pans, muffin pans, etc.

But, I’ve never heard of silicone or plastic coated cookware. If you are talking pots and pans, maybe you are thinking of enameled cast iron? Like the brand Le Creusets? They enamel coat cast iron. There are other brands of enameled cookware that are far less expensive than Le Creusets, but LC is TOPS.

Not plastic…lol Definitely looks pretty nifty, though…no?

Yeah, we’ve got a few neighbors with trees up already, and one house on the next block is all decked out: lights, garlands, life-sized wooden nativity scene complete with polar bears.

Usually I grumble but considering how lousy the economic news is around here, I’m not going to begrudge someone a little bit of cheer.

Okay- for Christmas, I want a new economy, one that’s fair to everyone and gives all who are willing to work a living wage.

I did, now I want Playstation 3, but y’all ain’t helping. I mean if I help get y’all toasters, I should have help on my stuff.
Tiffany’s not toasters, my friend…and we’ll help out. I will anyways. I don’t want another toaster?!😛
