Annunciata:
I wear a Scapular, Crucifix and Miraculous Medal.🙂
exactly the same here + an engagement ring

You know I was thinking, I have two scapulas but, they aren’t around my neck, those are situated behind my shoulders on each side of my back.😉

I also wear the brown scapular–not the plastic one that I see people wear often these days, but the one made of cloth.

I wear a medal of John Paul II that I purchased at the Vatican during the 2000 jubilee. It was blessed by him. It has really helped me get through the last couple of weeks.

I wear a scapular with the St. Benedict medal, a cross, Miraculous medal,a St Joseph medal grandfather wore and a second St Joseph medal my wife gave me.

I wear a Papal Crucifix,I love the “rustic” look of our Pope’s crucifix.

I wear a cross that I obtained at World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto.

I had an incredible event happen about 1 year ago.

The cross has almost never been off my neck and on occasion, it slips out from underneath my shirt, to be visible. Nobody has ever commented on it.

Then one day while filling my car with gasoline, a woman at another pump said, “that’s a nice World Youth Day cross.” I was touched so much!

I wear a special Cord of St. Philomena, two first class Relics of St. Philomena, a Scapular of Archangel Michael and a medallion from the Sanctuary of ST. Philomena commemorating the Jubilee.

amoungst the many things that hang from my neck are:
a celtic cross and a shamrock, both on the same chain, that my mom bought for me for my birthday 5 years ago that i only take off when im sleeping as the chain is incredibly long.
i also wear a white plastic chain and various other necklaces, but those have no religious meanings to them.

I wear a cross. And in my room, I have a medallion blessed by Pope John Paul II :dancing:

I wear a pearl necklace that my husband gave me for Christmas a couple of years ago, my wedding ring which I have worn faithfully for 6 years, I also wear a ring that my husband gave me for my first mother’s day that carries the birth stones of my daughter.

wonders if I’ll get a new mother’s ring this year with my son’s birth stone in it?🙂

I wear the Brown Scapular with the JP2 crucifix and the miraculous medal attached to it.

Could You please explain why you wear this piece of close - called scapular? What does it represent?

In my country catholics never had such tradition, but as I understand, in worldwide catholic community it is a common thing…

thank You…

The Tau Cross
The 5 fold scapular
The green scapular
The scapular of Saint Michael
The scapular of the Pious Union of the Holy Spirit
The scapular of Benediction
The miraculous medal
And a sore neck. 😃

Yours in the Spirit

Pious 🙂
How do you wear them and they NOT get tangled in Knots?
I just got a St. Benedict Medal/Cross which is on a crucifx. I had a brown scapular but the both got tangled pretty bad. I had to make a choice, to get them untangled I had to CUT one of them. I chose the Scapular.
My brother, a priest, bought me the St. Benedict Medal/Cross and blessed it then gave it to me. The Scapular was a gift from a stranger.

Wearing sacramentals is a very good practice especially when one is tempted to sin, to remint us of God’s infinate love for us and the hateful consequences of sin on oneself and others.

I recently met a Carmalite priest who told me that many people wear the rosary around their necks…though one shouldnt,as it is’nt a vestment to be worn; therefore many of the orders who wear the habit carry it around their waist and many people carry it in their pockets or bags.

I wear a crucifix and a scapular medal around my neck on a chain.
