What does freedom mean to a Muslim

The west would view your culture different too if when you did try to ‘take back your land,’ you did it without; blowing up nightclubs, murdering olympic athletes, blowing up cafes, murdering prisoners of war, launching random missles into cities with no military value, calling Jews ‘pigs’ or ‘sons of monkeys’ , breaking your peace treaties, calling for the genocide of an entire country, kidnapped civilians, cheering in the streets when one of your suicide bombers blew up a wedding, beheading peace activists, beheading peace activists on camera, showing T.V stations beheadings on camera, funding your wars through illicit drug production, your leaders skimming 50% of monies donated by international aid really meant for your nation, hijacking planes, hijacking planes and crashing them into civilian buildings, blowing up airliners, blowing up airliners while saying ‘allah ackbad’, holding an elementary school hostage so you can free your buddies and killing lots of the children inside because you didn’t get your way, fighting with masks to hide your identity, the staged photoshoots of the ‘suffering of your people,’…

…and to top it off, if you could actually ackowledge the difference between the type of warfare practiced by the west (a la Iraq, Afghanistan) and the type practiced by those you are (in practicality due to your stance of moral equivalency) defending(al qaeda, hamas, hezbollah, taliban, etc., etc.) without equivocating.

We call you Terrorists because you target the weakest members of society who are not part of the War. AKA Civilians. What part of Civilians do you not understand. Do not target Civilians and you will not get called terrorists. No Civilians, Get it??? Fight with honor, fight as a man, facing another man. Not a Man facing a mother, child, etc. Only evil and Cowardly men want to kill women and children. Stop doing this then you will not get called a Terrorist. Get it now?

You too, ahmadhassan…go easy. Their religion also tells them that no one may approach God except through Christ, after all. And how many religions take to criticism gracefully? And I might add, there are plenty of Christians who seem, well…‘fun-impaired.’ 😛

Like I said, not so different. As far I as I have known, most people are really nice, regardless of religion or lack thereof.

Muslims are not allowed to force anyone into Islam if they do not wish to.

Allah however has given everyone freedom of choice and therefore it is entirely up to them whether to accept or reject His signs.

Muslims are commanded only to deliver and spread the Message of Islam, not to convert non-Muslims for this would be a matter of the heart and therefore it can only be done by their Creator.

One difference in before and after is that Saddam and Ali Chemicali don’t get to mass murder Kurds.
How about you answer redmars3000’s post instead of dismissing it on the fact that you didn’t get another question answered.

As for women being forbidden to drive: this is the law in Saudi Arabia. I was just wondering what the basis is for this, and since all laws are connected to the Koran, I thought that perhaps Muhammad forbade his many wives from driving the family camel, so when man invented the car, the law was just updated. 😉 That was a little humor there, please don’t burn my effigy or my country’s flag in protest. Better yet, don’t issua a fatwah either. I mean no offense to Islam, and I have stated previously, I only wish to learn. If my facts are incorrect, please enlighten me.

You still have not answered the question regarding innocents being killed. For proof of that, just read the Drudge Report today with regards to the “civil war” erupting in Gaza.

look man ,the authinthicated laws of islam are taken from quran and sunnah ,so if you say that islam say something you have to give proof ,i told you that islam forbide killing innocent ,if you dont believe that or think im lieng then you can give proofs that support your claims and i`m sure that you wont found:)

If you say that Islam forbids killing the innocent, next you are going to tell me that all those moslem criminals running around Baghdad slaughtering bystanders are really just Baptists.

If you do, you are no better than the thug who pulls the trigger or detonates the car bomb. You share culpability for these actions. Islamic terrorists are responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths of their own people, day after day after day. They blow up each other’s holy places, they kill those who “Offend Islam” by being Christian. If you condone or justify or support any of these actions, then you are a criminal also.

just talk and talk with no proof against islam 👍 you prove that you know nothing about islam ,we shall judge christians by what hitler(christian) did ,my country(egypt) was under occupation of uk(christian) for more than 50 year and under frensh(christians) occupation more than 30 year
italy(catholics ) invaded lybia

You are being judged by the actions of moslems who are murderers of the innocent. BTW, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem(a moslem) and Adolf Hitler were great friends and were enthusiastically co-operating in the effort to exterminate the Jews.
Of course, you would not see that as a problem.

You are ignorant of your own history. The land which the Jews occupied was sold to them (legally, at hugely inflated prices) by corrupt Turkish moslems of the Ottoman Empire. The Jews turned the desert (which had been created by moslems grazing their goats and sheep) into productive land. Of course, once the moslems saw tthis, they immediately wanted it back. The moslems tried to take by force what the Jews had bought legally from moslems. There was no such place as palestine until it was created by the British Mandate.
 
Your photos do not impress me. Those people were killed and wounded because moslem terrorists fired rockets into Israel in perfect disregard for the safety of those villagers. They did not care that counter-battery fire would fall on innocent people. They are the real murderers. These moslem thugs have no regard for the safety and protection of their own people. If they get killed, too bad, they are martyrs. Sickening.

We all have the freedom to choose between right and wrong. We have the free will to choose to follow the Quran and Sunnah or to not. For the believer, most of our freedoms and rewards come in Jennah, and not this dunya (this life). We choose to practice our deen instead of living a life of fun and partying, sex and other “freeedoms” that some people choose to indulge in.
