Yes there are various understandings of “salvation” among Protestant communities.could the salvation be different between the churches?
I figured that as long as we all confess with our tongues and believe that jesus was resurrected on the third day that what we share is the same salvation!
is this wrong?
William, your either NOT paying attenion to my previous post; have chsoen to ignore them desptie bible verifications, or have simply made up your own mind.=William C;9793666]Your a Catholic who’s justified by his works, but with qualification.
Very good points here Bookcat. Our justification is a free gift from God and it does not come from our works. Somewhere I think St Paul says that if we are justified by our works then grace is no longer grace. Baptized infants are justified yet they have no works. Adults, however, need to cooperate with God’s grace with faith to be justified. After justification, which normally comes about in baptism or confession if we have lost sanctifying grace, are we then to do nothing? No, as St James says faith without works is dead. And in Revelations 22:11: he that is just, let him be justified still: and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.I am saved by Jesus Christ the Risen Lord
